@elaterite Those were the days when your vehicle was filled by someone, the windows were cleaned, usually with a chamois (pronounced shammy), the oil checked, etc. and so forth.

@coolpup Sad to say, I remember those days. There used to be gas wars and they'd give you gifts for filling up and you'd get a handful of Blue Chip or Green stamps.
@elaterite They seemed to be gentler, simpler days back then. I do miss them now and then, especially when the nonsense these days gets too bad.
