With Instagram getting continually worse I thought I'd give this a go. Looks like a promising platform and I'm excited to see where it goes.

My photography is mostly #nature and #landscape images. I sell my images as prints and for licensed use. This past year, much of my images have been taken in #Tasmania.

@elaterite Thank you! It looks great so far! Whats the normal use for alt-text? I just put the title of each image on it but if its a single image post then the title is going to be on the post anyway. Still working all this out haha
@cruscanlan Oh! Well, most people in the fediverse are strong supporters of inclusion. I just saw the alt-txt tags on your photos. I didn't read them. But you should use it to describe your photo as if describing it to a blind person. Yes, it is tedious at first, but you get use to it and the visually impaired are grateful. And it's why many hangout here and not on those other platforms.
