Do I learn a new #programming language properly, or stick with C++ and Python. I started learning Swift after trying Rust and hating it - perhaps I should do a bit more Swift and see what I think. It’s either that or think I am too old to try something new. #cpp #Python #SwiftLang
@luketrevorrow I have decided Rust is not for me. I haven't thought about Swift because here in Brazil Macs are madly expensive and I radicalized against Apple recently... so Python for me :)
@villares you can run Swift on Linux and Mac. Also there is a good VSCode Swift plugin.
@luketrevorrow yeah I know you can run Swift on many platforms nowadays and it is an elegant language, but I guess Apple rubbed me up the wrong way :(
