Hi folk, here is my #introduction. I am a #Gestalt psychotherapist from #Slovenia interested in #body and #trauma, an avid conscious dancer, started with #5Rhythms and thoroughly in love with #ContactImprovisation. I used to be a #Buddhist monk and teacher, but that part of my life has faded away lately. Oh, I used to be a computer engineer when I was younger, and still love .net community :)

Professionally I'm a staff reliability engineer (#SRE) at PagerDuty, where my interests lie in #LearningFromIncidents, #HumanFactors and safety.

My wife Candice (@eastcoastcandice) and I live in #Dartmouth, #NovaScotia (across the harbour from #Halifax) with our two #cats Stacey and Stella.

I'm going to make this my #introduction Toot. My name is Matthew and I was born and live in England, though I've also lived in #France and traveled widely.

I'm an #Anarchist #Buddhist - two things that might not seem obviously related, yet in truth they are. I care deeply for people and planet: #inequality and #ClimateJustice are two sides of one coin. We must find a new narrative, a new social contract. We have to learn to live in #peace.

We must engage with current #social, #economic, and #political paradigms and seek to reimagine them to be fit for purpose, because currently they are not.

Extractive patriarchal capitalism is destroying the #ecosphere, and our communities. #ClimateChange is a symptom, not the problem. The symptom will only alleviate when the problem is addressed.

Reposting my #Introduction after server move!

I'm a #Black #neurodivergent (#ADHD) #disabled ace woman in her late 30's based in the UK. I have a #chronicillness (#MECFS)- former nurse but housebound now. I am extremely concerned about the way our society is going so I spend my time reading, doing serious #philosophy & trying to build #community despite having severe social anxiety. I'm also a dedicated longtime #Buddhist practitioner. I study #Japanese as a hobby (& yes, I do like #anime!)

#introduction (2) I’ve been meditating for most of my life, practicing #Buddhist for the last 20 years or so. #Gardener. #Cook. Besides #photography I can do many kinds of things moderately to rather well, and some rather badly but I try. #coffeeroasting most days. Caring for those who need it as much as I can. I code web front end, have done a lot of design — web and print for pay -- but much less now. No to fascism and nazis and GOP extremists.
