"If These Walls Could Talk" … This is a new version of an old favorite that I first posted back in June of 2017. There were a few things about the original that have been bugging me … apparently for 7 years 🙄 … and today, for some reason, I decided to try to fix them. The bad thing is, there are several important real-life things I should have been doing today instead of this. But oh well. One must strike while the iron is hot … or while inspiration hits … or the muse sings … or whatever … right??

This is a beautiful home that I found while wandering around #Antietam #Battlefield … of our #CivilWar … one afternoon. I don't think it's actually a part of the park? Maybe someone knows more and can correct me. If memory serves (it rarely does) I think it's very near the bridge at Little Antietam Creek. I have a feeling the home and farm were probably in existence during the battle … those glorious warm stones and the architectural style just seem to fit the era.

Fenced Reflection

One day while driving around right near sunset I was getting frustrated at my lack of subjects to shoot. I pulled over to slow down and just kind of scope out the area. that's when I saw this fence. I found it odd that the fence ran into the water but I really enjoyed the light on it and the pattern that it created. I hope you do to. Fenced Reflection

I captured this image out by Grizzly Island near the Sacramento River.
This is a fairly simple image and that was the goal.
This fence ran from a nearby farm down to the water in this slough. There was absolutely no wind and I really liked the design presented with the reflection in the water. The sun was low in the sky and seemed to focus on the fence boards.
