Our #resolution this 'new year' is that in fact it began with the Winter #Solstice and runs through 13 Dark 🌑s to the next Winter Solstice. We will celebrate each dark and full Moon.

We intend to #ReclaimTime and the #patriarchal control of #time in the settler-colonial #Gregorian #calendar. This completely eliminates the #Moon which belongs to virtually every #Indigenous #cosmology. Cosmic time reckons with 🌍 🌙 and ☀️

London 1976

When I was 16 years old, my parents gave me a (now called "analog") photo camera, Short time later I went to Eastbourne, England, where some of my class and I spent 10 days during a language study travel.

I lost the then made slides over the time. Beneath them was one slide I always was thinking of as one of my best. I made it somewhere in London with my new "Regula Sprinty".

But yesterday I found those slides again! And yesterday I scanned it. Enjoy!

London 1976: It was a sunny day, no clouds. The picture was taken in April 1976 in a street, camera directed up. There is a (then seen as) big multi-storey building, shone by the sun, which is reflecting very brightly in the upper part of the chess board like ordered glass windows of the building. In the foreground on the right lower end of the frame a shadowy upper part of old city houses are seen. The contrast between a shiny modern building and the old classical buildings is (as I see it) stunning. And I am not able to decide, which part I like better... :-)
