#introductions:

I’m a #musicologist and #medievalist, an early morning writer and a regular woods-walker, and a generalist in the classroom (#Shakespeare; #pandemics). I research women’s monastic communities, especially their libraries. I’m currently focused on the Tertiaries of Thalbach in #Bregenz, Austria, with a side-tour to the #chaplains of the city. I’ve published on women as scribes and on historiography, but a lot of my current engagement is with German prayer-books.

Master in English historical linguistics and #musicology. As a #musicologist, I research the lives, music and networks of composers persecuted in WWII in the Netherlands. I use the tools of #DigitalHumanities to create a network database of composers

I also write programme notes and do interviews for the #Concertgebouworchestra and #RotterdamPhilharmonic

I am an enthusiastic amateur #violist in a #stringquartet and #symphonyorchestra.

I'm a classical #mezzosoprano and #musicologist by training. I listen to #classicalmusic, #metal (mostly progressive), #ebm and a random assortment of other stuff.

I'm a regular #fawm participant, and I compose more or less #experimental #electronic music in #SuperCollider. I do #livestream s where I explore concepts and compose out loud.

I sing #choralmusic (classical and jazz) and play #guitar. Will occasionally infodump on #musictheory.
